We’re women, and we vote . . .

Well girls, maybe we’ve all heard that saying, grab a politician by the marginals, and you grab them by the heart . . . Schapelle could be any one of us, Schapelle could be our daughter, Schapelle could be our sister - and us women don’t take that lightly.

Click on THIS link to find your Federal electorate, then see if it matches with any in the list to the right.  If not, click on the ones in your state, to see which is the nearest to you, and “Adopt” it.  What then? How about . . .

  1. *Joining this forum, where you can meet other people working in your area, or where you can kick off a campaign yourself.

  2. *Finding the contact details of all the local newspapers.  Think about writing letters, or even placing ads.  Some small regional newspapers have very reasonable rates, even for a full-page ad.

  3. *Seeing if there are any local markets, where you can set up a stall.

  4. *Seeing where the local railway stations are, so you can hand out flyers (most politicians do this at election time).

  5. *Here’s a FLYER

  6. *Writing to the local member, to get their public opinion on this issue.  Here’s an example

  7. *Start your own blog about your efforts, and also share the info on Facebook and Twitter.

  8. *Research and make contact with local women’s groups, like ZONTA for example (and any others you can think of).

  9. *Think creatively
